You might be an entrepreneur....

05.29.2014

This is something I wrote up as part of my acceptance speech for being awarded "Entrepreneur of the Year" and one of the "Fastest Growing Companies" by The Corridor Business Journal in May 2014. I hope you enjoy it!

- If you see opportunity everywhere you look, you might be an entrepreneur.

- If you have been rich and broke at the same time, you might be an entrepreneur.

- If you are obsessively optimistic about the future, you might be an entrepreneur.

- If you run millions of dollars through a bank and they still consider you a liability, you might be an entrepreneur.

- If you have a high net worth and no available cash, you might be an entrepreneur.

- If you feel like an outcast at some business networking events, you might be an entrepreneur.

- If your parents have ever asked "When are you going to get a real job?"…you might be an entrepreneur.

- If you feel cursed and blessed all at the same time, you might be an entrepreneur.

- If you have bikes, skateboards, scooters or anything fun in your office, you might be an entrepreneur.

- If talking about business makes you feel like a kid in a candy store, you might be an entrepreneur.

- If you ever thought job security seems SO insecure, you might be an entrepreneur.

- If it’s been years since you did the same thing at work two days in a row, you might be an entrepreneur.

- If real life feels like a game of Monopoly, you might be an entrepreneur.

- If you wish you had more property to leverage with the SBA, you might be an entrepreneur.

- If you’ve ever hoped of owning something you can someday be an absentee owner of, you might be an entrepreneur.

- If some days you feel more like a pioneer than a businessman, you might be an entrepreneur.

- If you have an uncontrollable drive to ideate, create, and grow, you might be an entrepreneur.

- If your comfort zone is way outside of your own comfort zone, you might be an entrepreneur.

- If “risk” is treated like a four letter word, you might be an entrepreneur.

- If the top line is 10 times more exciting to you than the bottom-line, you might be an entrepreneur.

-If your balance sheet is crazy out of balance, you might be an entrepreneur. Steve holding Entrepreneur of the Year & Fastest Growing Company awards.
