Photo Spread of Mercedario part 1

You may have read the articles in the news or a previous post of mine about our epic experience. The Andes are an extraordinary mountain range! If you ever have a chance to hike or climb in the Andes, it would be time well spent. It was a fluke that the lake's damn broke and wiped out the road that we came in on. Other than the fact we lived on a very limited amount of food during our situation, it was an amazing adventure. I hope to revisit this pristine area sometime in the future! I hope you enjoy the pictures! (all pictures taken by me unless otherwise stated) looking at our route with anabal from the salt flats
